Chile has been selected as the host country for the Adventure Travel Trade Association’s (ATTA) annual event in 2025. This important gathering, which brings together tour operators, professionals, and adventure tourism experts from around the world, will be held in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic Region next year.
Winning the title of host of next year’s Adventure Travel World Summit will mean attracting nearly 1,000 visitors for Chile, making our country the epicenter of adventure tourism worldwide.
Undersecretary of Tourism Verónica Pardo emphasized that “holding this congress represents a great opportunity for Chile and reinforces our leadership in adventure tourism, an area in which we work with a focus on sustainability and respect for the environment. We offer a wide variety of experiences and activities, which has earned us distinctions such as the World Travel Awards, where we have been named best adventure destination for ten consecutive years.”
The announcement was made during the Adventure Travel World Summit Panama 2024, an event that also serves as a platform for sharing best practices, promoting experiences, and learning about the latest trends in the sector.
Chile will thus host the next version of the Adventure Travel World Summit in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic Region, exactly ten years after Puerto Varas, in the Los Lagos Region, hosted it in 2015.
The activities of the next ATTA summit will take place from October 13 to 16, 2025, in Puerto Natales.
