Moon Valley

We will leave from the town to reach the Moon Valley, declared a national reserve. Its name is due to the shapes and colors of the rocks present in the place are similar to those on the surface of the Moon. In this place we will visit the old salt mines where miners helps to developed the mining industry in this area. The salt statues called the “Tres Marias”. Impressive salt formations that rise like true natural sculptures. We will also visit other geological formations such as the Mayor Dune, where we will enter a large canyon of rocky and sandy formation allowing us to walk through a beautiful desert landscape of spectacular colors.
