Located at 3.500 meters above sea level and at the bottom of a large ravine, the thermal water of the Puritama river emerges. 8 pools of hot water at a temperature of 30ºC are a revitalizing experience for the body and the spirit.
Overview
During the 30 km trip to the puritama hotsprings, which in Kunza, the traditional Atacama language, means “hot water”, we will be able to observe the foxtail-type vegetation and the cardón-type cactus.
The space is minimally intervened and has been designed in harmony with the environment. Wooden walkways connect the eight pools and facilitate access for visitors. The place has the appropriate infrastructure to enjoy the varied properties of these hot springs, just as the ancient Atacama culture did from very early on.
